Head of Pentagon’s UFO office plays down claims made at hearing

Sean Kirkpatrick, head of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, has written a memo about the revelations. Last week’s subcommittee hearing on the topic of UFOs (or UAPs) certainly brought some interesting claims to light, including those of David Grusch who maintained that the US government had found “non-human biologics” at UFO crash sites and had been covering up evidence for years. Not everyone has been too impressed with these assertions, however, with Sean Kirkpatrick – who heads up the Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office – noting in a recent memo that his team had found no evidence to back up anything that Grusch was claiming.

“To be clear, AARO has yet to find any credible evidence to support the allegations of any reverse engineering program for non-human technology,” he wrote. “I cannot let yesterday’s hearing pass without sharing how insulting it was to the officers of the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community who chose to join AARO, many with not unreasonable anxieties about the career risks this would entail.”

In addition, Grusch had allegedly failed to approach the office about his claims.

“Contrary to assertions made in the hearing, the central source of those allegations has refused to speak with AARO,” Kirkpatrick wrote.
