Things are not looking particularly promising for more hearings on the subject of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena. Last month’s subcommittee hearing on the topic of UFOs (or UAPs) certainly brought some interesting claims to light, including those of David Grusch who maintained that the US government had found “non-human biologics” at UFO crash sites and had been covering up evidence for years.It would not be unreasonable to imagine that the event might lead to a number of other hearings on the topic, but at a recent event hosted by The Hill, some members of the House Oversight Committee indicated that this might be impossible without a special UAP-related select committee.
“We’re running into a lot of roadblocks there, and that’s the problem with this whole thing,” said Rep. Tim Burchett. “It just creates more and more conspiracy theories because our federal government is so arrogant and so bloated, and they’ll just run out the clock.” “I’m guilty of this as well, but Americans want their pizzas in 30 minutes or less, and that’s about our dadgum attention span.”
According to Rep. Jared Moskowitz, however, the topic of UFOs has at least been seeing more attention – more even that other major political issues concerning Biden and Trump.
“I hear from people more on this subject than anything else,” he said.
“Not the Trump indictments, not Hunter Biden. They are talking about the UAP hearing because there’s great interest in this government transparency issue.”
